Introduction

Mar Chrysostom College is owned and governed by the Catholic Diocese of Marthandam. The founder of the college is Most. Rev. Yoohanon Mar Chrysostom the former bishop of Marthandam Diocese.

At present Most Rev. Dr. Vincent Mar Paulos, the bishop of Marthandam Diocese is the chairman of the college. Rev. Fr. S.Varghese is the Correspondent/Secretary of the college.

The college is approved by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and affiliated to TNTEU (Tamilnadu Teachers Education University). The Diocese of Marthandam founded Mar Chrysostom College of Education on 14/12/2006, the auspicious day of the 10th year of installation of the Diocese of Marthandam.

Management

Mar Chrysostom College is Owned and Managed by the Catholic Diocese of Marthandam under Diocese of Marthandam Trust. Our college is dedicated to "Seat of Wisdom" and the Motto is "AMARE ET SERVIRE"(Love to Serve).

College is located in a calm and quite atmosphere at Kirathoor, near Nithiravilai in Kanyakumari District.
